LUFFY’S POTENTIAL

This Theory is based on Luffy and the potential he has shown and has yet to show. Every massive fight Luffy awakens some new power or form.[IMG]

This isn’t power its just him possessing a very High level of Will being able to control himself even with 100 other people’s shadows being stuck in him.[IMG]

First we have Luffy during his defeat at water 7 against Lucci he discovered his body had abilities. Then we have Second Gear which pumps his blood through his body faster then most people can handle. It not only pumps the blood faster but it makes Luffy in fact faster. It has the drawback of the more he uses it the more it wears out his body.[IMG]

Then we have Third Gear, Luffy blew air into his bones making their density magnified but had drawbacks just like gear two. Once the technique is stopped Luffy turns into chibi Luffy for half the time he used Gear 3.[IMG]

After a short time we see him awakening his haki during the time they faced off against Duval and the flying fish riders.

Then awakened more haki during Impel Down and even further at Marineford during the ‘War of the Best‘.

Also during the Marineford war Luffy was said to have the most terrifying power of anyone trying to conquer the seas.

The character I am talking about is the clearest thinking and observational characters in all the series “Hawk Eyes” Mihawk.

Upon returning to the ocean on their new adventures each strawhat came back a lot stronger with more potential then they had before the timeskip. While we were updated on most of the strawhats locations and the training they underwent.

With Luffy we did not see anything except small glimpses of the early days of Rayleighs training for Luffy.

Rayleigh left Ruskaina Island 6 months before the return to sabaody so Luffy continued his training upto the day the Kuja pirates and Hancock picked him up. So we have 6 months of training Luffy could have created new techniques we have yet to see. In 6 months he could have created a few forms since in less then 1 day he was able to create gear 2 and 3.

Last bit of Rayleighs training we saw was when Luffy created the King Kong Gun after that we know nothing.

We then advance to Fishman Island and we find out Luffy mastered Conquerors Haki and created a technique to set his arm on fire while it is armored in haki that resembles Ace’s Fire Fist. How this is possible I have no clue but it is a memento of Ace so we just let it go.

We also discover Luffy has the ability to understand sea kings when Shirahoshi wished to help Luffy.

After Fishman Island, Punk Hazard was seemingly uneventful when it came to advancement due to Caesar being a tool of Doflamingo and just like Jinbe said during Marineford and Fishman Island false power limits your own growth so Caesar was never meant to be a strong character.

We advance further to Dressrosa we see full extent of Luffy’s Conquerors Haki during his fight of Don Chinjao. After witnessing his friend being shot by Doflamingo Luffy snaps and goes on an all out assault upto the castle to face Doflamingo. It was then at this point that Luffy finds out about devil fruits can be awakened and we discover his Gear 4 for the first time.

Gear Four seems to be a combination of Gear 2 and 3, Luffy’s size, speed, and strength are quadrupled. Then after Dressrosa ended the crew went to Zou where they discovered a lot of things had happened.

After all the explanations Jack and his crew showed back up and started attacking the elephant that supports and carries the town and minks on its back. It was then at this time that we see both Luffy and Momo can both hear the elephant’s voice just like Roger and Oden could.

After Luffy and his alliance split up at the end of Zou arc Luffy and part of his crew heads to Whole Cake Island to rescue Sanji. Right off the bat Luffy finds and fights one of Big Mom’s Commanders after a 10 hour battle Luffy shows us Gear Four had another form: Tankman which is the same as Boundman except for the strength of tank man is dropped to increase defence.

This leads me to believe that Gear 4 has other forms but at the sametime I think Luffy is still holding back a lot.

So let’s count off the powers Luffy has then I will get more into the theory.

1: Strong will

2: Gear 2 speed increase the more he used it in the past the more it wore his body down. But later in the story he overcame that as seen in Fishman Island arc he used gear 2 many times and it never wore him down like in the past.

3: Gear 3 hardens bones and makes part of his body that of a giant. But when Gear 3 is used and it wears off he used to turn into chibi Luffy for half the time he was using Gear 3. Yet again in Fishman Island arc Luffy overcame the chibi part.

4: Power to attract people to his side without even thinking.

5: Conquerors Haki power to make weak willed people pass out

6: Armament Haki armors up the body to increase resistance and striking ability

7: Observational Haki many abilities rolled into one perceive whole battlefield and determine who is friend or foe. Perceive attacks speed and reaction time increased.

8: Red Hawk fire fist punch

9: Gear 4 Boundman overuses haki only can use this form for 5 minutes then has to recover for 10 minutes.

10: Gear 4 King Kong Gun while still in Gear 4 he uses Gear 3 ability and blows up a limb to giant level but still uses Gear 4’s armament/rubber quota while still having the massive boost of speed from elastiforce.

11: Gear 4 Tankman, this is the second full form of Gear 4 it is basically the same thing as Boundman but instead of focusing on strength like in boundman, tankman is a immovable object, this form is basically a defence but just like boundman it has a serious drawback. It uses too much of Luffy’s cholesterol he already overeats because its his bodies way of healing. But in Tankman he only has a short gap of time he can use tankman especially if he hasn’t eaten in awhile.

12: One other ability Luffy has every time he suffers a near or complete defeat he comes back stronger.

Now given all these powers and strengths he’s gained in such short periods and the leaps bounds Luffy has grown.

Luffy might still be hiding other stuff from us or he might even awaken new powers like his devil fruit.

We have seen twice in the series the mentioning of awakened devil fruits first was the demon guards of Impel Down and then Doflamingo.

Luffy’s awakening will probably take on the same form as Doflamingo being able to turn his surroundings to string but Luffy is not a thinker so using it the sameway is out of the question.

Luffy is the type of character that will go all out fist to fist so Luffy will end up using it someway that will benefit the fight. Use it on weapons or to slingshot himself back up towards an enemy.

Luffy has many more abilities and I would not be surprised another form or 2 ready just doesn’t think hes capable of using them in battle at his power level now.

Just like the first few times he used Gear 2 and 3 the drawbacks were terrible but just like them he will overcome the drawbacks from Gear 4 as well.

Luffy’s potential to get more powerful is endless his strong will pushes him forward against tougher and tougher opponents.

Dragon’s overpowered Devil Fruit

It is speculated that Blackbeard will end up having three Devil Fruits in total: one being the most powerful Paramecia, the second being the most powerful Logia and lastly, the most powerful Zoan. Most believe that Kaido will have the most powerful Zoan and that Teach will take that fruit, I completely disagree. While Kaido might have one of the most powerful fruits in the series, I believe that the most powerful Zoan belongs to non other than Monkey D. Dragon. You might be thinking, “What brought him to this conclusion”? Well, let me remind you of the battle at the Revolutionaries’ base between Blackbeard, Cp0 and the Revolutionary Army. After fighting Sabo in Dressrosa, Jesus Burgess followed him back to the base. Once he spotted the base, Jesus reported back to Teach and he got excited. I was thinking to myself “Why would Blackbeard fight Dragon who has no business with him?” Then that’s because Teach is probably in search of the most powerful Zoan fruit! It is very evident that Dragon’s fruit has a variety of abilities, and variety only comes with Zoans. Dragon has been shown to control the air and even lightning, just whether in general. After watching the move “Fantastic, Beasts and Where to Find Them”, I came to the conclusion that only one thing can do this. I think that he has the mythical Zoan Thunderbird fruit. The Thunderbird is a creature in Native American mythology that has the ability to control the whether. The Thunderbird can take the form of a human, which explains the nature of a Zoan type.

Going back to its origins, when I found out it originated from Native American Mythology, I freaked because Dragon looks like a Native American. It is stated that when ever the Thunderbird is around, there is a storm and every time we see Dragon there is a storm!!Well that’s my theory and I hope I convinced someone out there. The THUNDERBIRD IS OVERPOWERED!!!!

LUCKY ROO – SHOOTING FASTER THAN HIS OWN SHADOW!

I’ve already seen some theories regarding Lucky Roo’s powers, some of them are so original and strange that say he can control time! That’s really OP right? Well after thinking and research I’ve come up with something more basic, but works perfectly with every piece of information we have!

First of all, you all know who Lucky Roo is, one of Yonko Shanks’ most important men? Well you must know if you are reading this so I don’t think I have to explain that, forgive me for my laziness.

So, what’s the mystery?
Mystery 1: During Romance Dawn, we see one of Higuma’s men pointing a gun at Shanks’ head, then after Shanks warns him suddenly Lucky Roo appears and shoots him. Now here’s the question, how can a big man like that go there that quickly without being noticed?

Mystery 2: Despite the fact that they fought Kaido just hours before so, the Red Hair Pirates literally just appear at Marineford. So now, before answering what his powers are, I must show you what his inspiration is:
I noticed several things in order to find it out:
His name, how quick he is, and the fact that Oda is a fan of Westerns.
Well, I think he is based on that guy:

If you don’t recognize him- then I’ll tell you this character is Lucky Luke, he is said to be the quickest shooter in the West, even quicker than his own shadow (Literally being quicker than light then):

So, here are the answers to the three reasons I listed above:
1. Name: Lucky Roo vs. Lucky Luke, note that in Japanese there’s no L so they would pronounce it Rook, notice the similarity?
2. Speed: Lucky Roo is shown to appear literally in an instant, Lucky Luke is quicker than his own shadow
3. Oda: Lucky Luke is a very famous Cowboy character, it makes sense that a Western lover like Oda would know him and take inspiration from him.

So, here’s what I think Lucky Roo’s powers are:
The Tere Tere no Mi (Teleport Teleport Fruit), Teleportation is quicker than the speed of light since it is literally disappearing and appearing somewhere else in the same instant.

I think that the fruit has some range, but you can teleport yourself, and everything you grab/touch, that would explain his sudden appearance near Higuma’s man, and it means that he might have teleported the Red-Hair’s entire ship quickly, therefore reaching Marineford in an impossible amount of time.

Blackbeard’s Third Devil Fruit

It is likely that all of you remember the events of Marineford. It was one of the most spectacular arcs of the whole series, and also one of the most beloved arcs by fans in general. The arc had a lot of events that influenced the future of the One Piece storyline, but one event is still a mystery and will likely play an important part in the future, I’m talking about Blackbeard obtaining another Devil Fruit.

We have been told countless times that eating a second devil fruit would be impossible. While It has been stated many times that the person would likely die when eating a second fruit, Blackbeard mysteriously obtained the devil fruit of the deceased Whitebeard, moments after the latter’s death. How he obtained Whitebeard’s powers are currently unknown. Blackbeard covered himself and the body of Whitebeard with a black curtain, before he performed some kind of procedure that allowed him to absorb Whitebeard’s fruit. While it could have something to do with Blackbeard’s original devil fruit, which is known to have the power to absorb things, it could also be something that is up with Blackbeard personally. After obtaining the rumored strongest Logia fruit, the Yami Yami no Mi, and ‘stealing’ the strongest Paramecia fruit, Whitebeard’s Gura Gura no Mi, the possibility of him obtaining more fruits has been the subject of discussion for many years. While some have theorized that it could be possible for him to obtain the powers of many different fruits, most fans have speculated that plot-wise he is likely to obtain at most one more devil fruit, being a Zoan type fruit.

The Zoan Fruit

A Zoan devil fruit would be the most logical fruit for him to obtain plot-wise. This would result in him having 1 of each type, which makes him a good  final opponent for Luffy. It has often been rumoured that Teach will obtain his devil fruit in the nearby future, or has obtained it already. While it is impossible to predict the Zoan that Blackbeard is most likely going to get, we can always speculate about things that we already know. I personally think that he is going to steal it from a character that we already know. Let’s take a look at the possible fruits he might get.

Kaido’s fruit

The most likely candidate in my opinion, is the fruit that Kaido has, if Kaido actually has one. Kaido’s crew has constantly been stated to be themed around Zoan fruit. Kaido has also repeatedly been dubbed as the strongest creature in the world. Combine this, and it would seem very logical for him to have an insanely powerful and rare Zoan devil fruit. It is likely, considering his importance in the storyline and his strength and position in the One Piece world, that his Zoan fruit is actually the strongest in it’s tier, just like Whitebeard’s fruit was the strongest in that one’s tier. This would ultimately result in Blackbeard obtaining the strongest devil fruit from each tier.We don’t really know what kind of fruit Kaido might have, but it is likely some sort of ancient zoan fruit. It is possible that it is something related to a dragon or other mythical creature. The thing that bothers me a little bit, is the fact that I can’t really see Blackbeard transforming in a creature during his fights, because it would be rather conflicting with his other powers. Maybe he is going to mix the powers of the fruits and create some insanely powerful and creative attacks.

Marco’s fruit

Marco’s fruit is also a very rare and powerful Zoan fruit. It allows the user to transform into a Phoenix and use this form to gain a lot of agility and combat power. The true power of the Phoenix however, lies in the ability to heal. Marco could heal a lot of damage that he took during the war, for example; after he was severely wounded by Kizaru. The Phoenix form allows people to completely heal wounds in mere seconds.Another candidate is Marco’s fruit. We all know that Blackbeard  has been in a war with Marco during the Timeskip. Blackbeard took over Whitebeard’s territory after killing him, and Marco and the remaining Whitebeard pirates tried to stop him from doing this, and get revenge for their captain.  No one has heard from Marco or the remaining Whitebeard pirates since this war, but it was obvious that they were completely overwhelmed.

This fruit would be insanely good for Teach, because his Logia fruit doesn’t allow him to create an element-body like the other Logia fruits can. This makes him a lot less ‘invulnerable’ than other Logia users. It is also stated that the Yami Yami no Mi, makes him take even more pain and damage. If he could compensate for this weakness with Marco’s fruit, he would become insanely powerful and be a truly scary possible final opponent for Luffy.Theory by S.

DID ODA REALLY GIVE US THE FINAL STRAWHATS IN THIS COVER PAGE?

First of all, let’s count the number of cats in this picture. And you will notice that they are a total of 13 cats around Nekumamushi. Which means Luffy + 12 crew members as most people are actually speculating as the final number and that we will get 4 final members in the New World. What I will do is that I will mark the current strawhats from these cats with explanation to why I say that, and I will end up with final 4 cats and I will say who they represent from our current candidate in the story

I’ll go from easy ones to hard ones for me. You will see that I did write numbers close to each cat so that you know which cat I’m talking about

Cat # 1: I think this one is an obvious one. Who is the member in our crew who is always chilling under the umbrella during the sunlight? Still don’t know who is it? she wears a bikini always in these scenes haha. Yes it’s non other than the beauty that is Nami swaaaan!!!!

Cat # 2: Well, anyone can tell who this cat is haha. the thing he wears in his waist. Also, he is drinking sake from the bottle haha. This cat surely represent Zoro

Cat # 3: Many people might very well mistake him for Usopp, including the theorist I did mention before. However, personally I believe this is non other than Franky. Why? cause these sunglasses are different from the ones Usopp actually wears whether it was pre-timeskip Usopp or Post-timeskip Usopp.

As you can see, this is pre-timeskip Usopp sunglasses, and this down below is Usopp’s sunglass post-timeskip as well

As you can see, in both cases, they are actually different glasses. However, Franky is the one who wears that type of sunglass. He was always wearing it during his childhood

And even though Oda did change his design as he got older, and he started wearing a different and more cool sunglasses like these

However, Franky still from time to time wears these type of glasses again like here:

So, from what it seems, Franky wears these sunglasses when he’s building or fixing something, while in most other instances, he wears those black badass sunglasses haha

Anyway, Cat # 3 is Franky, and I hope you are convinced why it’s him and not Usopp

Cat # 4: This one is non other than Nico Robin, as she is the one who looks like a spy in most times, and with that sunglass haha. This one is Nico Robin

Cat # 5: OK, who is the damn idiot in the crew who hide in this stupid way? Yes, It’s damn Chopper haha. He’s the one that hides half of his body and shows the other half haha

Cat # 6: This one is Sanji. This cat’s black hair is extending more in the right side of its face, and the right eye is closed. And we know Sanji has his hair on the right side covering his right eye

Cat # 7: This cat that is sleeping is the most chill guy in the crew who is always relaxed and even sleeps in the most dangerous situations. This one is Brook haha. I mean this guy was chilling and sleeping next to Big Mom without any worry at all bwahahaha

Cat # 8: This one was actually very hard for me. But it’s good I found who this is. This is the pirate King, Monkey D. Luffy. Why do I say this? just look at the laugh this cat has. it’s the same damn laugh Luffy has most of the time when he is enjoying the shit when he closes his eyes and say “shishishishishi”. Also, Luffy is very known to be very cheerful and always enjoying the moment. This laugh is even the exact copy of this one for Luffy

So, basically what determined this one for me to be Luffy is the attitude of the cat and how its laugh clearly resemble Luffy as you see.

Cat # 9: This one is Usopp, and I say this for two reasons: First, he is the closest one to Nami. And we all can tell that in the story of One Piece, these two due almost most of the time are together scared and have their own weird ass dynamic haha. Second reason is something I didn’t notice until now. and that is Usopp actually post-timeskip has NEVER showed his ears. Since the timeskip and he has been putting the headphones, and that got me to speculate if his hearing was injured because of hearing a laud explosion during his training that affected his hearing and he developed this headphone to make his hearing much and much more sensitive to the surroundings, or is he protecting his ears from the sound of shots and so on.

Anyway, whatever is the problem with Usopp’s ears be it a new power Oda will emphasize later on (would be nice to combine it with his observation haki against an opponent he cannot see, where he combines his observation haki and this device on his ear to hear more clear by being more sensitive and locate the enemy) or maybe it’s just a new design and nothing else. Anyway, this cat number 9 is the only one as you can see that its ears are flipped unlike the other cats. And that is basically the main reason I said it’s Usopp, cause post-timeskip he never showed his ears as it was always covered with Headphones

Now that we have finished counting all the current Strawhat cats in this picture. Let’s go into the last 4 cats that remains and combine out current possible candidates with them. What I actually was able to tell from the 4 rest cats are just three. While the last one I couldn’t find any resemblance to some characters that exist in our current storyline haha

First, Cat number 10:
OK, so who is one of our current candidates that actually wears a Kimono, and sits down in this manner, and he drinks sake not from a bottle like Zoro does who lacks manner in that aspect haha, but rather he drinks sake after pouring it on a plate haha. This is Jinbie for sure

So, you can tell from the cloth of that cat, along with the attitude of how Jinbie actually drinks sake, that this cat represents Jinbie. As you can see, Jinbie has more manner when drinking sake than Zoro hahaha. Zoro doesn’t care about pouring it into a cup or plate haha. As you can see, even the crew say this stuff to Zoro in the page below when Usopp scream at Zoro about not using a cup haha
Anyway, going into:

Cat Number 11:
What is very special about this cat and unique that separates it from the rest of the cats is non other than its “tail”. I think you guys by just looking at its tail would surely know who this character is, right? and he definitely is one of the popular choices at the moment to also join the strawhats if he got his lifespan back somehow this arc which is what I do believe will happen. You cannot tell me that this cat tail is not looking unique from the rest to actually look exactly like Pedro’s tail haha.

Still not convinced it’s Pedro? ok, we know that Pedro lost his left eye, and he actually covers it with his hair, right? Look at this cat and you will realize its only showing the right side and only the right eye haha. This cat surely represent Pedro.

Let’s go now into:

Cat Number 12: This one was one of the hardest for me haha. but then I realized, that this cats black hair actually extends not to the right or left, but rather into the middle. OK. So, who do you guys think from the current candidate has a hair that covers the forehead which is very important for the character? Yes, it’s non other than Pudding who grew her bangs to cover that area which has the third eye. Not only that, but look at the expression of that cat, that cat truly looks like Pudding when she was acting nice at the beginning of the arc haha. That cat also really looks feminine compared to other cats haha. And the expression of the cat looks like she is shy or in love which really should relates to her because of this current plot between her and Sanji.

Lastly:
Cat Number 13:
This one is the real mystery for me. I couldn’t find someone from our current candidate that it resemble to be honest. There might be someone, but I didn’t notice it or skipped that shit, so you might be able to figure out with me here haha. Or maybe it’s a new character or even Oda still didn’t decide how this last character to join looks like. Who knows. maybe he’s got the idea what his name and role but still didn’t finish its design. Or again, as I said, maybe there is someone who resemble this can but I didn’t notice it haha.

Anyway, with that I truly believe that Oda did give us hints about few of the next strawhats with this cover page, and 3 of them in my opinion will be Jinbie, Pedro and Pudding (not necessarily with that order, Pedro might even be the 4th one haha, and to be honest I think he will be the 4th as well)

Anyway, tell me your thoughts, and if you did notice some similarity with the last cat, mention them down here.

WHO IS STRONGER? KAIDO OR WHITEBEARD- SHANKS OR MIHAWK?

I have strong feelings about people claiming this guy is stronger than that, etc.. My problem stems from the fact that we just do not currently have enough source material to make those sorts of claims but if you really want to insist that Kaido is this and that. Well… “He’s been defeated 7 times AS A PIRATE….” He is the strongest creature among ALL LIVING THINGS”. Now let’s break this down shall we? What is strength? What is the word “strongest” referring to when speaking about Kaido? Strength can mean many things.kaido_vs_alleanza_kiddLet’s take a step back. Let’s talk about Shanks.112Shanks has one arm. He has one weapon. Every single time we have seen him prepare to fight, he draws his sword. Therefore, we can conclude that Shanks is a pirate who mainly uses a sword to fight. Does this mean his status as a yonko and Mihawk’s status as a Shichibukai makes Shanks a superior swordsman? No. The show clearly emphasizes multiple times and has made undisputable the fact that Mihawk is indeed the world’s greatest swordsman. Does this mean Mihawk is stronger than Shanks? No. The show has clearly defined the Yonko to be the 4 strongest pirates in the sea and last time I checked, Mihawk IS a pirate. Notice a pattern yet? So, if they both primarily use swords, why is Mihawk the one with the title of “Greatest swordsman” and why is Shanks higher on the power scale? My answer? Haki. As we have seen established by Zoro when fighting Pica, the power of Haki varies between users, and we know Shanks possesses a significantly powerful haki and we’ve only seen small glimpses of his power as of yet. What does this mean?

Well, it means that Mihawk is defined as the strongest swordsman in the world because he has mastered the use of a sword. He can cut mountains, and perform long distance sword slashes.687t6wgMeanwhile, Shanks may not be THAT adept with a sword as to use it in such a skillful way, but the power behind his swings, the actual power brought on by his immensely powerful haki coupled with his ridiculous speed which we get a glimpse of when he dodges Whitebeard’s jug throw instantly WHILE SITTING DOWN, theoretically allows him to fend off Mihawk’s attacks seamlessly and win all their duels. Back to Kaido. “He has been defeated 7 times as a pirate”. “He is the strongest creature among ALL LIVING THINGS”. At this point, I know most of you probably know where I’m going but I’ll finish anyway. Kaido’ skin might be the most durable in the world; his muscles might be the biggest and strongest in the world; he might even have a strong resistance to haki due to his incredibly and abnormally tough skin, but it doesn’t mean he possesses a significantly powerful haki. And as this series has clearly wanted to push down our throats, HAKI IS THE KEY TO EVERYTHING post timeskip.

Now, think about this for a moment… Why would an incredibly durable, incredibly powerful human being or creature who is obviously very confident in his power want to master something like Haki? Now, don’t misunderstand me. I’m not saying he doesn’t have haki. He probably, most likely does. It’s standard post time skip. However, why would he want to MASTER something like that? He doesn’t NEED TO! He is the strongest creature alive! This brings me directly to my next point. Whitebeard and Shanks are most likely two of the pirates who defeated Kaido those 7 times, the latter having actually been mentioned as having stopped Kaido when he wanted to fight Whitebeard. It has been established that both Shanks and Whitebeard possess or in Whitebeard’s case, possessed conqueror’s haki. And considering they split the sky in half with a casual clash, I’d say their haki was and is incredibly powerful.shanks_vs-_whitebeardThen, if you follow Oda’s pattern you realize that yeah, Kaido by definition may be the strongest creature among all living things, but it doesn’t mean he has a powerful haki and as we established earlier, haki seems to be the key to everything since the time skip. It also doesn’t mean he can’t be cut or beaten. And he has the scars and the reputation of being defeated and cut before by someone. On to my final point… I know… I have already written a book… it’s almost over, I promise…. What is Haki?

Haki is defined as the fighting spirit within people. That means that two people may have a strong fighting spirit and therefore a strong haki but the person with a slightly stronger fighting spirit will always win the haki contest. Now tell me this. Do you honestly think that a man who has made a hobby out of trying to KILL HIMSELF to the point where he wants to start a war with the entire world (Most likely to find himself someone who can finally kill him) has a strong fighting spirit? Sounds like his fighting spirit, his will to live, needs some sowing back together. So if we add up all the variables, we get Kaido the strongest creature among all living things that possesses a weak haki, or not as strong as others. Then we take Luffy, a man whose fighting spirit grows significantly with every trial he faces. A man, that when met with his match, overcomes the limits of his powers (as seen in Alabasta when he lost to crocodile twice on the same day but beat him the third time) to protect his crew and move further ahead toward his goal.maxresdefaultAnd then you tell me, you don’t know how in the world he’ll beat Kaido? Take a moment and rethink your logic.

SABO VS. AKAINU, THE HIGHER ORDER OF LOGIAS AND AWAKENING

I’m sure everyone has thought about this matchup since Sabo snagged the Mera-Mera no Mi during Dressrosa. But does Sabo actually have a chance against the Magu-Magu no Mi Marine Fleet Admiral? Let’s give this a look.

To start with, why would Sabo want to challenge Akainu? Well, to start with Sabo is the 2nd in Command of the Revolutionary Army, a group whose main goal is to usurp the World Government. As the Marines are the WG’s main source of military strength, it’s obvious that the Marines (headed by Akainu) would take on the Revolutionary Army when Monkey D. Dragon and his merry band of freedom fighters come knocking. But there could be a bigger motive for Sabo to want to take on Akainu. Hint: Sabo and Ace are sworn brothers (as well as Luffy, but he’s not the main event right now), and Akainu murdered Ace. Sabo retrieved Ace’s Mera-Mera no Mi. Because simply put, Sabo wants to avenge his brother. He knew he couldn’t do it without his brother’s Devil Fruit, so he waited until he got his hands on it. Now he can learn how to use it and master it to defeat his brother’s killer.

But can he defeat Akainu? Well, let’s look at the facts as well as some knowledge of molecular structure.
Fire isn’t really a substance of its own. It’s basically plasma created by the combustion of another substance. So then how does Ace (and subsequently Sabo) turn his body to fire? Well, it’s a stretch, but this is One Piece, so I’m going for it.

As we know, Logia users can turn their bodies into whatever element their particular DF controls. But how does this work. Well, simply put, Logia DF’s rearrange the user’s molecular structure by a person’s will, which is why surprise attacks are sometimes a thing for Logia users without powerful CoO Haki as the user wouldn’t be able to rearrange their molecules in time. But there is science in how the molecules change. For example, Crocodile’s Suna Suna no Mi breaks his molecules up into tiny particles of sand, and Aokiji’s Hie Hie no Mi solidifies and chills his molecules into ice.

In regard to a Logia’s power spreading into the environment, the user merely wills his or her power of molecular disruption into their surroundings, changing the landscape.

The Mera Mera no Mi is different. At the user’s will, it ‘combusts’ the user’s body (to change into the fire form) and the air (and oxygen) around the user. In addition, the more oxygen in the air, the hotter the fire will be. This is how Ace can literally transform into fire, which has no true tangibility. To reform, the user just reforms the surrounding molecules affected back into the person’s solid state.

Now this might seem pretty OP at first glance. But remember, the fire is reconstituted back into Ace (or Sabo) UNLESS an outside object catches on fire, in which case it will either burn or go out of its own accord. It’s like lighting a candle with another candle.

So, how did Akainu beat Ace to begin with? Well, first let’s discuss some info on Ace’s strength. It was expressed in chapter 159 of the manga that Luffy is surprised that Ace had eaten the Mera Mera no Mi, and it is explicitly stated in episode 95 that Ace hadn’t eaten the DF long before their encounter at Alabasta, meaning that Ace hadn’t actually gained full control over the DF just yet. By that notion, we can assume that he hadn’t experienced the Fruit’s Awakening yet.

On the other hand we have Akainu, who (despite immense control over his Magu Magu no Mi) likely hasn’t Awakened his DF, either. But what does that mean for the comparison in strength?

Ace’s control over his Devil Fruit extended to orange and yellow flames, as we saw throughout the entire first saga of the One Piece anime. Now, the flames Ace controlled were likely in the ballpark of about 1,100-1,200 degrees Celsius (or an average of 2,100 degrees Fahrenheit). On the other hand, Akainu’s magma is likely around 1,300 degrees Celsius (2,400 degrees Fahrenheit), which is quite a bit hotter than Ace’s flames. But there is one important thing to consider alongside this: Unlike fire, magma retains a sphysical form. This is a free flowing substance that is hot enough to burn other objects.

This ultimately explains how Akainu was able to connect with Ace’s physical form. Ace was unable to burn his molecules in time to keep an outside force from burning him, and burning him hotter than he already burned. So, in a way, Oda is correct about magma being ‘of a higher order’ than orange fire.

So, then, how does Sabo have a chance?

Well, it’s already been shown that Sabo possesses a great level of control over the Mera Mera no Mi, using it to copy Ace’s Hiken ability in episode 678. In addition, Sabo was able to coat his weapon in flames before engaging Fujitora later on in Dressrosa. This tells me Sabo has a natural knack for the DF.

Sabo awakening his new DF has been hypothesized to be when he focuses his mental willpower, as Logias require willpower to force the body and surrounding molecules to transform. But on the scientific end, Sabo would need to combust a lot more air (and subsequently the oxygen in the air) than Ace ever did. When he does this, the flames he generates could become blue. Blue fire is much hotter than orange, burning at around 1,500 degrees Celsius, or 2,700 degrees Fahrenheit on average.

Sabo would burn so hot that Akainu (in comparison) wouldn’t be able to burn him. Yet, Sabo could burn Akainu, seeing as magma is a physical mass and Sabo would burn hotter than Akainu’s magma. In addition, Sabo has access to Haki and was shown using it during Dressrosa. With Haki on his side plus Sabo’s blue fire, he’d easily be a match for Akainu.

So why not Luffy? Why wouldn’t Luffy challenge Akainu instead?

Well, to be perfectly honest I’d be surprised if Luffy didn’t go for Akainu’s head at least once before getting to Raftel. But overthrowing the WG isn’t on Luffy’s to-do list; becoming Pirate King is. If he clashes with Akainu, then he clashes with Akainu, but I don’t see it evolving into a full on fight. Luffy hates Akainu, but he also knows that Akainu is powerful, and he trusts his brother Sabo. And if Sabo one day later in One Piece during a heated moment with the Marines breathing down the Strawhat’s necks tells Luffy he will handle Akainu and avenge their brother while Luffy continues on for his dream, I can only believe that Luffy will believe in his brother.

CONCLUSION:
-Logia DFs affect molecules to change objects and the user to a specific element
-IF Mera Mera no Mi’s Awakening is blue fire, the Sabo can defeat Akainu or at least put up a damn good fight.

THE REAL REASON KAIDO IS SUICIDAL – Theory

The real reason why Oda has focused on Kaido’s suicidal tendencies

As we all remember from the unexpected but awesome intro we got for Kaido at the tail end of Dressrosa his hobby is trying to kill himself. Now as terrifying and unhealthy a hobby as that is I think that Oda has made this a integral part of Kaido’s character for a specific reason. That reason is because Kaido will be the first character Luffy actually kills in the story.

Luffy has had many fierce battles up to this point and has beat the hell out of his opponents but none so far have kicked the bucket as a direct consequence of fighting Luffy. I think that Oda has Kaido set up as someone wanting to die already, so when Luffy actually does it he comes out as clean as you can possibly be after killing someone. The way I think this will be accomplished is by expanding upon Kaido’s story to let us know why he has devolved into this state of being and have it be something so tragic that Luffy ending his life is viewed as an act of mercy. Of course I think Luffy will get a lot of character development from this, he’ll probably be pretty shaken and at least for a short amount of time be visibly saddened by the act. Overall I think this has to be done because the fights that will take place after the one with Kaido will be against cut throats like Blackbeard and Akainu whom Luffy may have to deal with in the same way he did with Kaido.

How Blackbeard Acquired Two Devil Fruit?

One of the very popular mysteries that the One Piece community wanted to know is how Marshall D. Teach managed to eat two devil fruits. So far the Cerberus theory is the most popular idea on how Blackbeard able to eat two devil fruits.

Before I start to speculate how BB managed to have two devil fruits let’s just recap first some of his appearances in the series.

The first time we saw Blackbeard was in Mock Town, his appearance back then was just like an ordinary man and even his looks while he was still in the Whitebeard crew was pretty plain and simple.

In Banaro Island we first saw the great changes in Blackbeard appearance and, since then he had this elegant clothes and jewelry, until Impel Down and Marineford war he’s still wearing the same clothes and the jewelry especially the rings.[IMG]

When Blackbeard took the Gura Gura no Mi, he used black cloth to cover Whitebeard’s body to hide the method that he used on how he gets the power of Tremor Tremor fruit.

We know that after the devil fruit user dies, his devil fruit power will be transfer to the nearby fruit. In Whitebeard situation, when he died he was cover with cloth and Blackbeard was beside him.

Now here’s my crazy idea that might get your attention! :D

We saw inanimate objects obtained devil fruits power like Lassoo and Funkfreed so I guess if it is possible for the plain inanimate objects to acquire the power of devil fruits then most likely it is very possible that the “cursed objects” can obtain devil fruit power because curses and devils are connected to each other.

I believe Blackbeard didn’t eat the Gura Gura no Mi rather one of his ring absorbed the power of that devil fruit. I would say that his ring is cursed and cursed objects can absorb the devil fruit when its user died near to it. Curse comes from the devil so I guess it’s really possible that a curse object can absorb devil fruits power once its user passed away and maybe that’s the reason why Zoro had his azura which look like a power came from devil fruit because his cursed sword had absorbed the power of devil fruit before same with the hakuba of Cabbage-kun.

After Whitebeard died the power of his devil fruit get off of his body then the CURSED RING of Blackbeard started to suck and absorb its power. (Just imagine the devil fruit power is like the spirit in the movies, going off of WB body and ready to travel to the nearest fruit but suddenly the cursed precious ring suck the spirit and absorb its power.)

Take a look at this, Blackbeard said to the navy to allow him use his power then suddenly his hand with his rings is highlighted on that moment.

[IMG][IMG][IMG]

The cursed sword of Zoro giving him the ability to use the azura maybe because it has devil fruit power which it was absorb way way back, likewise the cursed sword of Cavendish that shows his alter ego Hakuba. In Blackbeard’s case, he’s able to use the power of tremor tremor fruit because his cursed ring absorbed the power of that fruit when Whitebeard died and that’s the reason why Blackbeard is still alive and that’s why we haven’t see any abnormalities on his body after having two devil fruits because he didn’t literally ate the Gura Gura no Mi rather his cursed ring just sucked and absorbed its power.

There are spread rumors in One Piece world that most of the Blackbeard captains acquired devil fruit powers and Burgess tried to kill Luffy and Sabo to get the Gomu Gomu no Mi and Mera Mera no Mi using a dagger, maybe that knife is also cursed that’s why it has the ability to take devil fruit power once its user die and maybe the rest of the Blackbeard crew also have “Cursed Objects” that’s why they were managed to acquire devil fruit powers after killing its user.

In conclusion,

Blackbeard didn’t literally ate the Gura Gura no Mi, his cursed ring just sucked and absorbed the power of Tremor Tremor fruit that’s why Teach didn’t die after having two devil fruits.

What do you think guys? Does this make any sense?

SCORCHED BALTIGO

Dragon’s tactical response to Blackbeard’s invasionAs the title and tagline both suggest, this theory will be focusing on what really went down on Baltigo between the Blackbeard Pirates and the Revolutionary Army, so without further due lets dive right in.

What we currently know about the situation is that Burgess sneaked aboard one of the Revolutionary Army’s ships that was returning to Baltigo and then proceeded to contact his crew after he got there. We are then later told that when the Marines and CP got there, the Blackbeard Pirates apparently destroyed the place.

So what exactly happened there? Well I’m here with a speculative explanation.
______

I believe that the Blackbeard Pirates weren’t the ones responsible for the actual damage caused on the island. And there’s a few reasons to suggest this imo.

Before I go any further I would like to analyze the current information we have on the situation and how that ties into my reasoning.

It is stated that by the time the Marines and CP arrived at the scene, Blackbeard and his crew apparently destroyed the area.

Keyword is apparently, thats what it seems like to the Marines and CP when they arrived there. It is further stated that no deaths and wounds were reported. I want you to keep these details in mind for later.

Pedro goes on to say that if Dragon/Sabo were either captured or killed, it would’ve been huge news already but the fact that they left it out means neither possibly occured.

So if the Blackbeard Pirates weren’t responsible for the actual destruction caused on the island and the Revolutionaries are safe, how did this all play out?

Well I believe Dragon and the Revolutionaries were responsible for the destruction caused on the island and that they used a tactic called “Scorched Earth Policy”. Before you go WTF, hear me out I’ve got a few reasons to support this notion.

1) What is Scorched Earth Policy?

This refers to a military strategy of burning or destroying buildings, crops, or other resources that might be of use to an invading enemy force.

This policy has been used a few times in history. Mainly used by Russia on two seperate occaisons, one during the Napoleonic Wars and one during WWll.

What connections does Dragon have to Russia?
Well he has a few conncections. The most obvious being his birth date.

His birth date is October 5th and this connects with the October Revolution in Russia where Vladimir Lenin and his group took power.

With the help of Sabo’s fruit, executing the Scorched Earth Policy in a short amount of time is reasonable. I assume Dragon and the Revolutionaries noticed that the Blackbeard Pirates were headed their way and decided to execute this tactic. The Blackbeard Pirates seemed like they were responsible but that doesn’t mean they were actually the ones responsible. It was stated that they were “apparently” the ones who caused the destruction, that means it isn’t 100% certain that they caused that.

2) Dragon is a man of secrecy, and has been for atleast a decade. Hence why he is the most wanted man considering his classified nature of living in island that has been stated to be a mysterious land and the fact that he’s directly opposing the WG.

When you take that into consideration, Dragon deciding to destory the HQ and all of its resources kind of makes sense considering his nature. He wouldn’t risk fighting Blackbeard to have his secret information exposed to the public. Not after he’s been in secrecy for the past decade or so. I believe the smartest option available for Dragon at the time was to destroy any resources that may have been useful to someone like Blackbeard and then evacuate the area.

3) A war between the Blackbeard Pirates and Revolutionaries wouldn’t have no casualties whatsoever. The fact that no casualties were reported is pretty odd. When two strong forces of this level collide there are bound to be casualties but absolutely none are reported. I believe no real battle actually occured based on this. All we know is that the island is in ruins, the Blackbeard Pirates were seemingly responsible and that CP/Marines arrived there. Pedro nails it when he says that the fact that no deaths were reported on Dragon and Sabo, its pretty safe to assume they are fine. Well what is there to report if the individuals who were attacked evacuated the area in the first place?

4) Though this isn’t the concrete evidence to support the notion that Dragon used Scorched Earth Policy, I decided to add it in as bonus information.

If you take a good look at the picture depicting Baltigo after the destruction, you can actually spot what seems to be smoke on the island, but this is hard to tell so it should be taken with a grain of salt

Conclusion
-Dragon uses Scorched Earth Policy to preserve his secrecy.
-Dragon’s birth date corresponds with the well known October Revolution that occured in Russia where Lenin and the Socialists took power.
