How Zeff really lost his leg…

D: When I watched the One Piece anime, at the same part of Volume 7, Chapter 57, “Dreams Have a Reason” it says the reason Zeff lost his leg got torn off in the shipwreck… did they change that in consideration of the young children watching the show?

O: Yes. Hearing “eat your own leg” in that episode would be too much of a shock for young children. When you consider that a medium such as television has tens of millions of viewers, to neglect such a consideration would be a terrible mistake. It’s amazing that all those animators can continue to create such wonderful shows while still thinking about these things all the time!! If you can feel the love when you watch the show, everyone please send fan letters to Toei Animation. It’ll cheer everyone up there.

LUFFY’S STRETCHING

Luffy’s rubber-like stretching powers are a result of Oda’s desire for the fighting style to be silly, so that no matter how tense a situation gets, the reader can relax without becoming stressed out.

The Devil Fruit Luffy gained his abilities from was originally called the Gomu no Mi (fruit of gum), but after Oda’s editor pointed out that a real Gomu no Mi existed, the name was changed to Gum-Gum Fruit (Gomu Gomu no Mi?, fruit of gum gum).

Relationship between Sabo and Koala

Sabo is on friendly terms with his colleague Koala, having worked with her since they were both young teenagers. As a result, she became very upset and cried over the thought of Sabo leaving the revolutionaries after regaining his memories, and knows about his history with Luffy and Ace and his regret about not being able to be at the Battle of Marineford. Koala is happy for him when he finally reunites with his remaining brother, and also attempted to comfort him over any lingering feelings of regret he may feel over his inability to protect Ace – showing some closeness between the two. She also attends his battle at the Corrida Colosseum.

However, she is constantly frustrated with his selfish attitude in regards to disobeying orders as seen when she berates him for potentially drawing the ire of the Marines by fighting one of their Admirals.

The price list of the Human Auctioning House

The Human Auctioning House is a center of slave trade and a bidding house for selling living beings as slaves. It is located on Sabaody Archipelago’s Grove 1. It was owned by Donquixote Doflamingo and like most of things affiliated with Doflamingo, it bears the Donquixote Pirates Jolly Roger — a smiley-face with the cancel symbol over it.

After the timeskip, the Human Auctioning House has fallen into disrepair and its owner, Disco, is now a vagrant. Although as easily surmised and then directly cited by Caribou the slave trade lives on, insinuating that this is not the only auction house.

Eustass Kid Devil Fruit’s Powers

Kid possesses a Devil Fruit power connected to magnetism. This manifests in two different abilities, both depicting repulsion and attraction of metals within his vicinity to be used as weapons. The first allows him to repel metallic objects away from himself, such as reflecting a Marine cannonball back towards its shooter. The second ability allows him to draw metallic objects towards him and form them into objects, his most frequent use of this being to form a giant arm made of hundreds of metallic weapons and objects and connecting it to his right hand.

When forming this metallic arm, he can use it to punch his opponents, or as a makeshift shield to block even a Pacifista’s laser beams. It is unknown if the firearms connected to his metal arm can fire at his will or not. In the anime and Unlimited Cruise game, Kid can also launch compressed bullets of scrap metal at his opponent at high speed.

When using his Devil Fruit ability, purple electrical sparks emit from his hands, so his ability may resemble an electromagnet.

The main weakness of the fruit seems to be its dependence from the surrounding environment, which must contain metal in order for the fruit’s powers to be used (though this weakness has yet to be exploited). Other than that, it is also weak against the standard Devil Fruit weaknesses.

ONE PIECE X DRAGON BALL Crossover

Cross Epoch is a one-shot Japanese manga collaboration by Eiichiro Oda and Akira Toriyama. It’s a crossover between their respective masterpieces, One Piece and Dragon Ball.

The story does not involve epic battles but consists of short scenes in which the characters, usually one of each series in pairs, interact together. Even if the characters here have roles different from usual they remain anyway faithful to themselves.

In this manga Chopper and Krillin are conductors of a roller coaster

Nami and Bulma are thieves

Sanji and Master Roshi are police officers

Vegeta(here with Nico Robin, Trunks and Usopp) has horns and is the captain of a pirate crew

Piccolo is a swordsman as Zoro

At last, here is Buggy with Emperor Pilaf

Jack is still alive!! Is he a Fishman?

In the end, Jack doesn’t seem that damaged, he swallowed all that impact from Zunisha’s trunk.. what a beast!
He also look even more of a beast without his mask. So Jack is a Fishman? Too bad he can’t swim anymore because of DF , anyway he is able to breathe underwater.

Also now that everyone left, it’s a perfect opportunity for him to go back on Zou. It seems that Law and Zoro already left to boot, only leaving Inuarashi as capable one and even him doesn’t seem to be in that great of a state. What if he ends up capturing Momonosuke?
